Hail The Sun arrives in Dublin on November 4, 2026 at The Grand Social, with that nerve-wracking and technically proficient post-hardcore that has marked them since Chico, California. Led by Donovan Melero, a vocalist with a high-pitched timbre who also plays the drums, the band lays out winding tracks where rhythms snap and restart without warning, straddling math rock, progressive metal, and screamo bursts. Since POW! Right in the Kisser! and the Elephantitis EP, Hail The Sun has tightened its musical identity album after album: Wake laid the groundwork for a more defined sound, Culture Scars and Mental Knife pushed the balance between complexity and tension, while New Age Filth and then Divine Inner Tension confirm a band moving forward without changing its formula. Onstage, one can expect a dense set, driven by razor-sharp guitars, a highly mobile bass and a tightly structured drum attack, with that direct energy that matches their live reputation.
