If a grouper can change gender, then why not Lou? At birth, Lou's family and the doctors declared that Lou would be a woman, and Lou doesn't agree with that. Lou tells, with humor, her personal story of transition: from taking testosterone, through strip-tease, to discovering the queer world. Lou thus echoes questions we all ask ourselves: Are we obliged to be what we've been told to be? Can we reinvent our bodies, our relationship to love? Would it then be possible to rewrite one's own story? Lou Trotignon presents Mérou at the Grand Rex in Paris.
