On February 5, 2027, Dom La Nena places her cello, Leon, at the heart of a concert conceived as a pop‑chamber piece, between French chanson and folk. Born in Porto Alegre and based in France, the musician and composer has built an intimate language in which the voice blends with cello motifs, with a taste for repetitive forms and melodies that advance in hushed steps. She naturally navigates between Portuguese, Spanish, French, and English, and her pieces quietly carry the idea of movement, of languages crossing, and memories we carry with us.
In Saint-Martin-des-Champs, at the Roudour – Cultural Center, she surrounds herself with a string quartet to give greater depth to her arrangements: melodic flights, delicate pizzicati, tight harmonies and breathing spaces; everything hinges on listening. A collective format that extends her universe without overloading it, leaving room for the texture of the strings and the precision of silences.
