A group formed in 1997 in Val-d’Oise, Sniper quickly established itself as a cornerstone of French rap, led by Aketo, Tunisiano, Blacko and DJ Boudj. From Du rire aux larmes (2001), followed by Gravé dans la roche (2003) and Trait pour trait (2006), the collective forged a writing style that sat at the intersection of the lived experience of the cités, social critique, and a knack for phrasing, with this blend of storytelling, commitment and memorable refrains that marked an entire generation.
On March 20, 2027, Sniper returns to the stage at ED&N - Espace Dollfus & Noack in Sausheim in a duo format, led by Aketo and Tunisiano. The idea: go back to the fundamentals without dwelling on nostalgia, let the classics resonate, and open the door to new material. A set conceived as a reset, more direct, more mature, centered on the energy of live performance, authenticity and a voice always anchored in reality.
