Info
La Manufacture de Saint-Quentin had the chance to welcome on its stage in 2019 the artist Jean-Louis Murat. A memory we wish to relive through the eyes of Frank Loriou.
At the heart of an exhibition of photographs drawn from his book Photorama, Frank Loriou evokes the paths of creation up close with this artist. He shares with the public his memories, his anecdotes, and the story of these almost animated images, born of his complicity with the Auvergnat singer.
To accompany him in this evocation, JP Nataf (singer of Les Innocents and admirer of the work) joins him on guitar to revisit a few songs and let Murat's poetry resonate through the music.
This triple event, between photography, storytelling and music, will be followed by a meet-and-greet over a drink.
An experience to be lived over several sessions at La Manufacture, from October 6 to 9, 2026: Frank Loriou's exhibition “Photorama,” appointment-based visits. A dive into the intimacy and creative process of this artist, with whom Frank Loriou has maintained for twenty years a privileged relationship and with whom he has created nine album covers. A narrative with numerous anecdotes that lifts the veil on this mysterious artist who had never been told in this way.
