Info
On March 20, 2027, Daoud sets down his suitcases at Halle aux Grains in Toulouse with a concept of jazz that prefers sidesteps to frames that are too cautious. A trumpeter, composer and Franco-Moroccan producer, he advances in taut, vibrant music where sweetness can quickly crack, and where moments of restraint open onto rougher, more brutal bursts.
After ok (ACT, 2025), an intimate record built around the fall, repetition, and the obstinacy to start again, the stage becomes his playground: with his band, Daoud allows for slips, bends the rules, and makes lyricism and chaos coexist without trying to smooth the edges. His universe, as visual as it is sonic, embraces flaw and irony, with this way of revisiting childhood as material to explore rather than as a refuge.
