Elephanz is the pop-electro duo formed by brothers Jonathan and Maxime Verleysen, a melody-making machine that moves between edgy indie and well-crafted synth-pop. Since their beginnings in the early 2010s, they have laid down a clear path: polished productions, choruses that stick quickly, and bilingual writing that gives their songs added depth.
With Time for a Change, they laid the foundations for a sound that is both direct and elegant, before pushing the electronic edge on the Elephanz album, notably propelled by tracks such as Maryland. New wave subtly threaded through, synthetic minimalism, pop energy: their music plays with nostalgia without locking itself into it, with a sense of rhythm that carries you from headphones to the crowd without a transition.
