Info
Following its successes throughout 2025 in numerous venues across France, the Occitan group Nadau will make a stop at Vendéspace on Saturday, 20 February 2027. Nadau, an Occitanist group, has been performing for many years. Nadau's stories are like a collection of yellowed postcards that take us back to our roots, the land of those who love us and of that love of ‘living in the homeland.’ By forging a link with the territory, bringing the local culture to life and making it resonate, Nadau is a generous group. It reminds us where we come from and where we are headed. It awakens in each spectator that part of the unconscious made up of our roots and childhood. Joan de Nadau makes the words of our language sing. Each concert is a singular moment, like spring water that Joan renders in a mineral, crystalline manner. Nadau's tunes rise lightly, then take root in our hearts, germinating memories and hope. Nadau blends guitar, violin and bagpipes and concludes his performance with a rising crescendo that gives goosebumps.
