Between Rennes and Brazil, Luiza (Luiza Fernandes Viana) has carved out a distinctly personal path, carried by a voice developed since childhood at the conservatory, in the realm of lyric singing. Also trained in harp, piano, and guitar, she combines solid technique with a genuine taste for fusion, nourished by her stays in Brazil, all the way to the Amazon, and by a curiosity for folk repertoires and Afro-Latin rhythms.
Based in Paris, the Franco-Brazilian singer makes Brazilian music, cumbia, Latin pop, dub, and electro into dialogue with one another, with particular attention to vocal harmonies. She has appeared on “Rituals” with Fakear, in a cover of “Le Temps de l’Amour” with Mahom, or alongside iZem and Flavia Coelho on “Sua Pele.” On stage, she unfurls this patchwork with a supple energy, between electronic pulsations and organic warmth. Luiza will perform on March 19, 2027 at Carré Belle-Feuille, in Boulogne-Billancourt.
