Slow Pulp are set to play London on 6 February 2027 at the O2 Forum Kentish Town, with special guests announced. Formed in Madison and now based in Chicago, the quartet led by Emily Massey (with Alex Leeds, Teddy Mathews and Henry Stoehr) has found its comfort zone somewhere between nervy indie rock, chamber pop, and a dash of alt-country. From its early EPs through Moveys (2020), Slow Pulp has cultivated a direct, often melancholic songwriting, buoyed by supple guitars and a rhythm section that knows how to stay restrained when needed. Yard (2023), released on Anti-, further refines this blend: tracks that maintain a lo-fi texture without losing clarity, with a chorus that sticks without overdoing it. On stage, the group leans into the balance between fragility and tension, turning its hushed arrangements into a more direct set, tailor-made for the venue.
