On December 1, 2026, at the O2 Ritz Manchester, Boy Harsher arrive with The Heartbreak Tour. The duo formed by Jae Matthews and Augustus Muller have, for about ten years, drawn a clear line between darkwave, coldwave and minimalist electropop: dry drum machines, taut synth textures, and a voice that slides from spoken to sung—direct, almost clinical. Their music keeps one foot in imagery and cinema, with a sense of the nocturnal atmosphere that makes their tracks as physical as they are narrative. On stage, efficiency comes first: spare grooves, constant tension, and a set conceived to raise the temperature without going over the top.
As a special guest, Choir Boy offers a counterpoint that is more melodic and melancholic. Led by Adam Klopp, the band blends synth-pop, dream pop and new wave, with clear guitars, bright keyboards and vibrato that grabs you at once. Intimate writing, often restrained tempos, and this blend of romantic ardour and soft darkness that fits the lineup perfectly.
