Fat Dog lands at Rough Trade Nottingham on October 6, 2026 for an in-store live performance followed by a signing session, to mark the release of their new album Cancel Me (I’m Tired) on Domino. Born in London during lockdown, the group first made a name for themselves on stage before releasing their first tracks. Their thing: a nerve-wracking blend of post-punk and dance-punk, boosted by upfront electronics, taut synths and rhythms that flirt with the rave. It moves fast, it hits hard, and it leaves room for unexpected detours, notably thanks to the saxophone and colors that can tilt toward klezmer. After a run of notable tracks and a growing momentum through live shows, Fat Dog continues to draw a direct line between rock energy and a dancing pulse, with that offbeat sense that makes all the difference.
