Mathame are set to play an all-night-long set at Sala Apolo in Barcelona on July 24, 2026. The Italian duo, formed by brothers Amedeo and Matteo Giovanelli, have carved out a niche in the wake of European melodic techno with their own distinctive way of building tension: a sharp techno pulse, house progressions, atmospheric pads, and that sense of contrast that transforms a set into a continuous narrative.
Their writing plays on slow builds, expansive melodic motifs, and a club tension that's always legible, between melodic techno, ambient touches, and more cinematic production. Discovered through the Afterlife orbit and then quickly embraced by club and festival scenes, they sign tracks that neatly summarize their aesthetic, such as “Nothing Around Us” or “Skywalking.” Here, the all-night-long format promises a seamless journey, designed to unfold their universe from the first kick to the final crescendo.
