Psychedelic Porn Crumpets head to Vienna on November 16, 2026 at the Flex, delivering their taut, densely textured psychedelic rock born in Perth, Western Australia. Led by guitarist and songwriter Jack McEwan, the band carved out a place in the 2010s neo-psych scene thanks to a very physical approach: saturated guitars, riffs that loop, sudden accelerations, tempo changes that flirt with garage as much as with prog or stoner.
After self-released outings, the High Visceral diptych (Pt. 1 in 2016, Pt. 2 in 2017) laid the foundations of their sound in a wall of sound, and And Now for the Whatchamacallit (2019) tightened the writing without sacrificing the texture overload. The follow-up, from Shyga! The Sunlight Mound (2021) to Night Gnomes (2022), continues in a more direct, sometimes darker register. On stage, these tracks take on another dimension: a taut, fast set built for impact.
