On August 11, 2026, at the Fabryka Kultury ZGRZYT in Lublin, Alestorm will roll out its pirate-themed metal, born in Scotland in the mid-2000s. Formerly Battleheart, the band quickly established its formula: edgy power metal, folk touches, keyboards upfront, and choruses meant to be sung along, blending drinking songs with sea-battle narratives. From Captain Morgan’s Revenge to Seventh Rum of a Seventh Rum, Alestorm cultivates a quirky tone and effective writing, driven by direct melodies and a rhythm that runs without a moment's rest.
On the same bill, Metal de Facto defends a more straightforward Finnish power metal, fed by melodic heavy metal and stories drawn from the past. Since Imperium Romanum (2019), the band has moved forward with very prominent lead guitars, clear refrains and a construction free of symphonic frills, designed for impact. A clear and dynamic approach, in line with the Nordic scene, where melody remains the driving force.
