On August 22, 2026, at Allas Live (Helsinki), Arttu Wiskari comes to unfold his Finnish pop with iskelmä and rock contours, with that sense of storytelling and everyday life that marks his style. After having spent time in blues before sharpening a more direct songwriting approach, he relies on clear melodies, straightforward pop-rock arrangements, and Finnish lyrics that speak of relationships, small life scenes, and very local images. From Mökkitie to his most recent albums, Wiskari moves with simple and solid writing, often shaped with his accomplice Janne Rintala, in a duo or carried by a full band.
Portion Boys, formed in Helsinki in 2010, bring the other side of the evening: a dance-pop collective, built for choruses sung in unison, between singing, rap, keyboards and drums. Initially spotted via YouTube before broader dissemination in the mid-2010s, the group has released festive singles and Finnish hooks, while refreshing its vocal lineup with the arrival of Aapo Vuori in 2021. After their UMK 2023 appearance and recent tracks like Juhannusyö (2024), they promise an energetic set, conceived as a group performance.
