Info
Formed in Bogotá in the early 2010s, Morat is a quartet that moves between Latin pop and folk-pop, with a live, crowd-oriented formula: acoustic guitars, bass, banjo, and those vocal harmonies designed to be sung in unison. Their songs go straight to the essentials, with classic structures and choruses that hook quickly, supported by romantic lyrics and narratives that alternate ballads with more rhythmic tracks.
With the momentum provided by 'Mi nuevo vicio' alongside Paulina Rubio, the group began to gain space on both sides of the Atlantic and to rack up tours. In parallel, they have been expanding their repertoire through collaborations with key names in Spanish pop and albums such as Sobre el amor y sus efectos secundarios (About Love and Its Side Effects), Balas perdidas (Lost Bullets), ¿A dónde vamos? (Where Are We Going?) and Si ayer fuera hoy (If Yesterday Were Today).
On October 17, 2026, Morat will perform at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, a show designed to let audiences enjoy that string-and-choir sound that defines them on stage.
