Poets of the Fall head to Allas Live in Helsinki on September 4, 2026, with their distinctive blend of melodic alternative rock and nearly cinematic atmospheres. Driven by Marko Saaresto's voice, Olli Tukiainen's expansive guitars, and Markus "Captain" Kaarlonen's keyboards/productions, the Finnish trio navigates between post-grunge energy, catchy pop hooks, and more airy textures. Having come to prominence in the early 2000s, the band has also left an imprint thanks to its bridges to the video game world, notably Late Goodbye written for Max Payne 2, followed by Remedy-universe collaborations (Alan Wake, Control). On stage, this hybrid identity makes perfect sense: choruses that stick in the mind, meticulously crafted textures, and a set that traverses a discography built over time, from Signs of Life and Carnival of Rust to Ghostlight.
