Dead Poet Society bring their alt-rock pressure cooker to Electric Bristol in Bristol on January 28, 2027, with special guests. Formed in Boston by four Berklee alumni, the band has built its sound on big, tense riffs, tight rhythms and melodic vocal lines that cut through the grit. Grunge and hard rock are the backbone, but there’s also a taste for noisier textures and sharp dynamic shifts that keep the songs moving and unpredictable.
After a run of early EPs, they expanded the format with -!- (2021), a record where punchy hooks meet abrasive guitars without slipping into metal territory. Now based in Los Angeles, they pushed that approach further on Fission (2024), opening up the arrangements while keeping the impact direct. Expect a set that’s made to be felt live: heavy guitars, quick turns in intensity, and choruses that land clean.
