Info
On 2 April 2027, Alice on the Roof will perform at the Centre Culturel de Soignies for a concert that nicely fits with her trajectory: Belgian pop with a clear, almost Scandinavian-inflected finesse and an undercurrent of melancholy. She broke through with Higher and pushed that line further with Madame, where light melodies and a pared-down production converge around her crystal-clear voice. Live, that often translates into songs that leave room for nuance, with the piano as an anchor and a sensitivity to detail that makes her songs both accessible and personal.
In recent years, she has also moved forward more as a songwriter, with lyrics that can carry tenderness and engagement. With Alice, her first fully French-language album, she opens a new chapter: more direct, more vulnerable and yet recognizable in mood. In Soignies you’re not getting a retrospective, but a set that connects her different phases and shows where she stands now.
