TX2 brings its alt-pop-punk and emo-rap crossover to Manchester Academy in Manchester on March 9, 2027. Built around raw, often raspy vocals, the project moves between rapid-fire rap lines, shouted bursts and catchier sung hooks, with big guitars and tight, fast rhythms. The writing stays direct and introspective, digging into mental health, feeling out of place, messy relationships and the kind of spirals you don’t always say out loud.
First gaining traction online in the late 2010s through platforms like YouTube and SoundCloud, TX2 then reached a wider audience as short clips of songs started circulating and catching on. The catalog has largely grown through independent singles and EPs, sharpening a sound that plays with dynamics: sudden drops, switches in intensity, and melodies that stick without sanding off the edges.
