Jude York, aka Jeremy Beamish, arrives in Birmingham for a live show focused on his melodic indie-tinged pop, carried by choruses that hit the mark and lyrics that speak openly about the intimate. Born in Toowoomba (Queensland), he first drew attention in 2022 with I Won’t Need to Dream, before following with tracks such as Mr Porcelain, Cashew, or All My Friends Hate Me, bridging piano-vocal ballads and punchier pop. On stage, Jude York alternates stripped-back passages with brighter, more luminous excursions, with that instinct for melody that clings to the skin. His EP Heartstrings (2024) marks a milestone, as does Those Were The Days, a danceable single nourished by discreet nostalgia and a motif inspired by an Eastern European folk tune. After dates in Europe and the United Kingdom, he will bring his show to the O2 Institute Birmingham on 13 October 2026 for an evening that stays close to the emotions, without overdoing it.
