Malraux Scène Nationale presents: Bombino. Originating from Agadez, Niger, Bombino has helped place the Sahara on the world rock map with an electric desert blues, deeply rooted in Tuareg culture. Born in the midst of rebellion into a nomadic family, driven into exile, he makes his guitar a weapon of resistance and freedom. His punchy riffs bring Tinariwen and Ali Farka Touré into dialogue with icons Jimi Hendrix, John Lee Hooker and Jimmy Page. In their image, Bombino unleashes on stage an intense energy and musical personality. Between Saharan trance and psychedelic rock, his concerts should be experienced as collective experiences, where power, fervor and elegance mingle. Nominated for the Grammy Awards in 2019, he has also collaborated with Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys and marks his return in 2026 with a new album. This concert will take place at Malraux Scène Nationale Chambéry Savoie, as part of the Ciné Bala Festival #12.
