On March 16, 2027, at the Grand Rex in Paris, Robert Charlebois returns with Robert en Charleboisscope 2, a show conceived as a sweeping survey of his repertoire. A major figure of Québécois song, he unfolds there this blend that has defined him since the 1960s: the catchy song, the electricity of rock, pop detours, and a freedom of tone never quite tamed.
On stage, there are twelve musicians to carry a new selection of his best-known songs, reworked for the occasion, with a visual presentation designed especially for the giant screen. Charlebois, for his part, leads the performance: voice, presence, sense of rhythm, and that taste for contrast that moves from a unifying chorus to a rougher escape. Charleboisscope 2 is experienced as a generous and straightforward journey, meeting an artist who has always advanced by playing with the codes. Running time: 1 hour 40 minutes.
