Haken

On October 7, 2026, Haken bring their London-bred progressive rock/metal to Oczki in Warsaw. Formed in 2007 around guitarist-composer Richard Henshall and vocalist Ross Jennings, the band blends long-form writing, shifting time signatures and melodic vocal lines with prominent keyboards. Across Aquarius (2010), Visions (2011), The Mountain (2013), Affinity (2016), Vector (2018), Virus (2020) and Fauna (2023), they have shaped a balance between rhythmic complexity, direct choruses and atmospheric detours. With Peter Jones back on keys since 2022, the current lineup tightens the dialogue between guitars, bass and drums, threading intricate riffs with clear hooks. On stage, the music pivots from extended suites to sharp stop–start figures, letting airy textures open into heavier sections, a dynamic that has carried Haken across prog and metal stages worldwide.
