Info
On February 9, 2027, at Whelan’s in Dublin, Ariel Posen brings his own brand of roots music to the stage: a crossroads of blues, folk, soul and rock where slide guitar doesn’t steal the spotlight, it carries the songs. First known as the guitarist with The Bros. Landreth, the Winnipeg-based Canadian has since stepped forward as a frontman, leaning into vocals, tight arrangements and a warm, detailed sound.
Expect a set that moves between slow-burning ballads, atmospheric detours and more groove-led moments, in the spirit of his run of releases from How Long to Headway and Reasons Why, plus the Mile End EP. Live, Posen plays with feel and restraint, letting melodies breathe and lyrics land, the kind of show that works best when you’re in the room, close to the amps, listening to the songs unfold.
