Nick Hakim brings his shape-shifting soul to King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow on 2 November 2026. Born in Washington, D.C. and now based in New York, he moves between neo-soul, psychedelic soul and dreamy R&B. On stage, his supple voice glides over slow-burn grooves, foggy keys and guitar textures, shaping songs that feel intimate and unhurried. The set draws from the early Where Will We Go EPs and Green Twins through Will This Make Me Good and Cometa, with room for detours and the improvising streak he’s honed alongside the Onyx Collective. His catalogue leaves space and grain, and the band stretches those corners live, shifting from hushed confession to warped rhythm in a few bars. Collaborations with Erykah Badu, Lil Yachty or Adrianne Lenker echo in this approach, where melodies breathe and arrangements bend.
Special guests join the bill to set the tone before Hakim and his crew step in.
