Acid Arab

On January 9, 2027, at Espace Julien in Marseille, Acid Arab will present their live show. Born in Paris, the duo brings together Guido Minisky and Hervé Carvalho, artisans of an electronic sound that puts Western techno in dialogue with the sonorities of North Africa and the Middle East. On stage, acid lines and synth textures intersect with percussion, club rhythms and traditional melodies, accompanied by voices and instruments from different cultures. The live format condenses their collaborations with singers and musicians into a percussive, direct sound conceived for the dancefloor. True to their method, Acid Arab assembles motifs, timbres and tempos without hierarchy, balancing musical heritage and the present club context. Tracks evolve—stretching or tightening—the tension rises and falls, while the groove remains central. Between machines, repetitive patterns and Middle Eastern‑tinged motifs, the duo deploys a collective energy directed toward the audience and a clear vision of contemporary electronic fusion.
