FORM presents Lots of Hands and Sundots at DUST in Brighton and Hove on 6 November 2026.
Lots of Hands is the duo shaped by Billy Woodhouse and Elliot Dryden between Newcastle and Leeds. First a solo outlet, the project grew into a two‑handed writing process where indie folk, bedroom pop and light electronics meet looping guitars, whispered ballads and instrumental passages. Built long‑distance across shared demos, their early releases (mistake, there’s someone in this room just like you, fantasy) sketched a quiet, fragmentary style. Into a pretty room on Fire Talk Records pushes that dialogue further, balancing bare folk songs with bright textures and gentle electronic motifs, for music that stays intimate while opening up its palette.
Sundots centers on Connecticut musician Drew Collins, joined live by Jake Fucci, Austin Traver and Nick Restivo. Since 2019, the project has traced a line between freak folk, ambient, slowcore and indie rock, favoring slow tempos, hushed dynamics and melodies that let small textures carry as much weight as the chorus. Collins writes in a direct, almost stream‑of‑thought way, circling youth, attachment and personal shifts. Honeyspot, released in 2024, refines that approach: a set of close‑to‑the‑bone songs gaining a clearer band cohesion without losing their quiet focus.
