Since the late ’80s, Sud Sound System has carved out its own path in Italy: reggae, dancehall and raggamuffin with a Salento accent, lyrics in dialect and a Mediterranean pulse that dialogues with the Jamaican sound system tradition. Their blend of social awareness, celebration and southern Italian roots has taken shape album by album and, above all, on stage, where toasting and riddims are their natural terrain.
On the occasion of their 35th anniversary, they present the 35th Anniversary Tour: a journey through emblematic tracks and recent productions, designed for the stage and for the collective chorus. The set highlights the identity that has accompanied them since the beginning—between Jamaican groove and the echoes of pizzica—and that still sounds fresh today.
For this date they will be joined by Heavy Hammer Sound System, a benchmark of the Italian reggae scene, which brings selection and sound system culture to elevate the experience with dubplates, heavy bass and direct engagement with the audience.
The event takes place on 22 October 2026 at Sala Apolo in Barcelona. A meeting with one of the groups that have shaped the connection between Jamaica and the Mediterranean, this time celebrating their own history on stage.
