La Bien Querida

La Bien Querida, the project of Ana Fernández-Villaverde, arrives in Valencia on 18 September 2026 to present her repertoire at Loco Club. Since the late 2000s, her pop has moved between intimate songwriting and direct melody, with production that alternates guitars, drum machines and synthesizers. She began with Romancero and Fiesta, two albums of restrained indie pop recorded with David Rodríguez; she then opened a more electronic, twilight-tinged vein with Ceremonia and the triptych Premeditación, nocturnidad y alevosía. That line has intersected with chamber pop and minimal rhythms on Fuego, Brujería and Paprika, where synthetic pulses and flamenco inflections appear.

In concert, La Bien Querida often recombines eras: early songs that breathe differently when filtered through new textures, and recent pieces that coexist with her more melodic side. Along the way she has collaborated with names such as Los Planetas, Joan Miquel Oliver and La Estrella de David, building bridges within the Iberian scene. At Loco Club, the set focuses on that balance between lyrical intimacy and precise production that defines her trajectory.
