Friday, 2 October 2026, Le Badaboum (11th arrondissement, Paris) welcomes Otha for a live performance where electronic pop flirts with a club pulse. Behind Otha is Othalie, a musician from Norway’s west coast, whose project was initially shaped remotely with Tyler, who is based in Vancouver. Emerging at the end of the 2010s with “I’m On Top” and “One Of The Girls,” she blends Scandinavian synth-pop, disco lines, new wave echoes and vaporous textures close to shoegaze. Her hallmark: straightforward melodies, understated choruses and direct production that sets intimacy against the dancefloor.

On stage, Otha prolongs this tension between inwardness and motion, stringing together songs conceived as much for momentum as for restraint. This Paris stop offers an opportunity to delve into her repertoire and glimpse her new directions—without affectation and up close to the tracks. Announced as “Otha & more,” the bill will also feature other guests, while the Norwegian will set the tone and mood for the evening at Le Badaboum.
