The Tuner presents: The Ramoneurs de Menhirs
Whether in front of fest-noz dancers, festival crowds, or in the corners of intimate taverns, the Ramoneurs de Menhirs scour the restless airwaves of punk-rock and trad for many years now.
Originally, in 2006, an invitation from Eric (the bombarde player, whom we had already heard on Bérurier Noir's Vive le feu) to Loran (guitar and drum machine, ex-Bérurier Noir) for the Bévillon/Gorce duo's album of biniou/bombarde. The meeting was explosive and the energies fused, reflecting a Brittany that fights to defend its integrity while remaining open to the world and welcoming. Today, joined by Gwenael (vocals) and Jérôme (bombarde), these perpetual anarchists continue to denounce all fascisms and to unite their forces to bring generations together. The guitar is wild, the bombarde sharp, the lyrics engaged, and the biniou standing tall, to lead the dance and carry the trance.
