A key figure in US house since the 90s, Van Helden moves between garage swing, disco inflections and hip‑hop‑tinted basslines, the palette behind club staples like You Don’t Know Me and his remix of Tori Amos’s Professional Widow, as well as his Duck Sauce work with A‑Trak. Tight, clipped vocals, short loops and drum programming built for the dancefloor set the tone.
Around him, the LoveJuice crew keeps the tempo locked.
