Umamii presents « Sosa »

Umamii presents Sosa on 19 June 2026 at The Bassement Club, Calle de Galileo 26, Madrid. A DJ and producer born in Liverpool, Sosa operates at the crossroads of minimal house and deep tech, delivering dry grooves, precise basslines and tight rhythms that go straight to the dancefloor. His approach eschews embellishment in favor of repetition, rhythmic tension and clean textures—a way of building lines that move forward without losing clarity or drive.

Active since the late 2010s, he began on the UK circuit before stepping up to international clubs and festivals, with stops in Ibiza and appearances at events such as Creamfields, Coachella, Sunwaves and Hard Summer. His name has circulated through the scene thanks to a series of releases that have been spun in house booths of all kinds: BLOW (White Girl In Town), Time Away, Bump Artist EP, It’s Time To Move and DFCW—tracks conceived to work in a club setting.

Also at the helm of COCO Records, a label aligned with his aesthetic, Sosa arrives in Madrid with a set built around patient progressions, clean drops, tight percussion and clipped vocals. A focused journey, without excessive effects, where every element plays its part and leaves room for movement—true to the new wave of British house.
