Spite and Emmure bring their EU/UK Tour to Proxima, Warsaw, on 6 February 2027, for a double bill rooted in heavy, breakdown-driven energy.
Spite, formed in California in 2014 around vocalist Darius Tehrani, has carved a dense, hard-hitting deathcore built on jagged riffs and a sharp sense of rhythm. The early EPs Spite and Misery set the tone, consolidated on the album Nothing Is Beautiful in 2017. The Root of All Evil in 2019 pushed the contrast between rapid-fire bursts and weightier sections, while Dedication to Flesh in 2022 tightened the songwriting without softening the impact. Expect a palette where modern death metal meets hardcore tension, with abrasive guitar textures and a voice that shifts from clipped bark to cavernous growl.
Active since 2003, Emmure emerged from Connecticut before basing itself in Queens, New York, around the unmistakable voice of Frankie Palmeri. The group’s metalcore leans into deathcore and nu metal, with breakdown-centric structures, dissonant, repetitive riffs and a groove informed by hip-hop. From Goodbye to the Gallows and Felony to Speaker of the Dead and Eternal Enemies, the template stays focused and percussive, then opens up on Look at Yourself in 2017 and Hindsight in 2020 with electronic shades and a thicker nu metal edge. Lyrically, Emmure taps personal narratives, day-to-day violence and pop culture cues, all funneled into blunt, mosh-ready cuts.
