Info
Amble, a folk trio from Ireland, will take the stage at Le Trianon in Paris’s 18th arrondissement on 4 March 2027. Formed in the early 2020s, the group first made a name for themselves online before honing their craft on Ireland’s independent stages. Their songwriting is resolutely acoustic and centred on the voices: three-part harmonies, guitars up front, spare arrangements and moderate tempos. Straddling contemporary folk and indie folk, the songs progress on simple structures that leave room for the lyrics, written in a direct idiom and focused on relationships, vulnerability and everyday life. In concert, Amble places emphasis on the precision of their harmonies and a warm aesthetic—close to folk tradition but rooted in a current generation of acoustic artists. The guitars support choruses often sung in unison, the dynamics remain measured, and each piece is built without excess to let the voices breathe. At Le Trianon, the trio will present this repertoire in a light, stripped-down configuration, as close to the songs as possible.
