Stand Atlantic

On 30 September 2026 Stand Atlantic will perform at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht. The band from Sydney, led by singer/guitarist Bonnie Fraser, started out in the Australian pop-punk scene and gradually shifted toward alternative rock, emo and a more hard-edged pop. From the early EPs A Place Apart (2015) and Sidewinder (2017) they set the tone: direct guitars, melodic choruses and lyrics that balance energy with vulnerability. Debut album Skinny Dipping (2018) hones that formula, Pink Elephant (2020) sounds more compact and more open to contemporary textures. With f.e.a.r. (2022) the group pushed production toward a rougher edge, with shifting rhythms and electronics that penetrate the song structures. Was Here (2024) continues that hybrid course. Live, this translates into tight hooks, dynamic turns and a voice that can switch from biting to fragile. Stand Atlantic will bring a set that preserves the melodic foundation while also making room for new sounds.
