Smokie « The Greatest Hits - Live 2027 »

Smokie are bringing their greatest-hits show to Bremen: on 4 December 2027 at the Metropol Theater Bremen. The band, founded in Bradford in the late 1960s and performing under the name Smokie since 1975, is known for melodic soft- and pop-rock with distinctive multi-part harmonies and catchy guitar hooks. The setlist features the songs that dominated radio across Europe in the 1970s, above all If You Think You Know How to Love Me, Lay Back in the Arms of Someone and, of course, Living Next Door to Alice. Also included are ballads and country-tinged tracks from albums such as Pass It Around, Changing All the Time and Midnight Café, as well as later pop/country-rock numbers from the 1980s. Since the 1980s the lineup has changed several times, but the core of the sound has remained: harmonious vocals, melodic guitars and choruses that stick with you. An evening that neatly spans the arc of their career — from the early Chinn/Chapman productions to the tour-tested classics.
