La Coka Nostra

La Coka Nostra arrives at Petit Bain in Paris’s 13th arrondissement on September 11, 2026. Born between Boston and New York in the mid-2000s, the collective brings together Danny Boy O’Connor and DJ Lethal, former members of House of Pain, alongside Boston rapper Slaine and Ill Bill. Briefly joined by Everlast and Big Left, the group later consolidated into a quartet and has since followed a trajectory faithful to its core identity.

On record as on stage, La Coka Nostra champions a confrontational hip-hop sound rooted in boom bap and a hardcore legacy, with lyrics anchored in the street, politics, and social tensions. The project emerged online before asserting itself with the EP 100% Pure Coka and the debut album A Brand You Can Trust in 2009, followed by Masters of the Dark Arts in 2012 and To Thine Own Self Be True in 2016. Its musical line is compact, heavy, and direct, driven by dark productions and uncompromising flows.

At Petit Bain, that collective alchemy is on display: dense beats, razor-sharp rhymes, and group energy honed over years of live shows and solo careers. It’s an event that showcases the American underground rap school—no frills, with the cohesion that earned the supergroup its reputation.
