Gurriers

Dublin’s Gurriers land in Norwich on 20 October 2026 at The Adrian Flux Waterfront. The Irish five-piece carve a lean, tense strain of post-punk that edges into art-punk and noise rock: abrasive guitars, tight, mechanical rhythms and vocals that tilt between urgency, bark and deadpan. Their writing tracks everyday pressure and fracture — urban tension, normalized violence, a sense of slipping down the ladder, political contradictions — in short, clipped lines that avoid retro poses. A first run of singles set that dry, direct aesthetic; their debut album, Come and See (2024), widened the frame without softening the impact.

On stage, Gurriers favor precision over polish and momentum over ornament. Riffs scuff and churn, drums lock hard, and the voice stays wired, switching from confrontation to cool remove. The result is a compact, physical set built for close quarters, where repetition grinds, breaks, then resets, keeping the energy taut from one song to the next.
