In his new album Aniversari feliç, Ferran Palau sought to steer his imagination toward an aerial realm, but with a more clouded sense of reality. He wanted to shed ideas, empty himself inwardly and refill himself with purity.
In this concert, elements that lift the songs toward an infinite horizon are brought to the fore: strings, wind instruments and reverberant guitars. The lyrics, which—as always—are abstract, nonetheless continue to address certain themes surrounding the cycle of life and death: time, the laws of nature, the seasons, the birth of love, decay and loss...
