Rhapsody of Fire

On 23 January 2027 at La Puce À l’Oreille in Riom, Rhapsody of Fire leads the charge on the Motocultor Across Europe Tour. A pillar of symphonic power metal, the band blends neoclassical influences, heavy velocity and meticulous orchestrations. Their episodic songwriting, nourished by fantasy imagery and film-score conventions, suits the live setting perfectly: choirs, recurring themes and solos weave a narrative thread from the founding repertoire to more recent tracks from The Eighth Mountain, Glory for Salvation and Challenge the Wind.

Alongside them, Serious Black offers a contemporary interpretation of the genre: clean guitars, precise rhythms and choruses crafted for audience singalongs, all served by a modern sound that emphasises efficiency and dynamism.

On opening duty, Submasq, Aeon Gods and Rock Out set the scene and kick off the evening — three bands to discover within the power/heavy continuum, laying the groundwork before the headliners’ symphonic assault.
