Rhapsody of Fire

On January 22, 2027, the Motocultor Across Europe Tour stops at the Metronum in Toulouse. Headlining, Rhapsody of Fire delivers its narratively driven symphonic power metal: rapid guitars, choirs and orchestral arrangements serving tales at the crossroads of heavy metal and cinematic imagination. Now fronted by Giacomo Voli on vocals and Alex Staropoli on keyboards, the band continues the trajectory opened by The Eighth Mountain, Glory for Salvation and Challenge the Wind, putting together a set designed to alternate melodic fireworks, neoclassical passages and choruses crafted for the stage.

Alongside them, Serious Black offers a more modern take on power metal. Cutting guitars, tight rhythmic drive and contemporary production structure direct songs with choruses that take hold quickly. A complementary counterpoint to the headliner’s orchestral dimension, it makes for a bill that covers the genre’s various facets.

Opening the evening, Submasq, Aeon Gods and Rock Out warm up the venue with three approaches to discover—between raw energy, a knack for riffs and opening melodic salvos. A progression of acts conceived to build in intensity before Rhapsody of Fire takes the stage.
