Skip the Use

Skip The Use returns to the stage on 5 March 2027 at Espace Culturel Les Pieux in Les Pieux with the Love & Anxiety Tour. A benchmark of French electro-rock, the band blends sharp riffs, incisive keyboards and instantly catchy melodies to present the tracks from Love & Anxiety alongside the songs that made them known. On stage the tempo rises quickly and the choruses gain in breadth, in a collective energy that speaks as much to long-time fans as to those discovering the group. Formed in 2007, Skip The Use laid the foundations with a self-titled debut and then stood out with Can Be Late, which won the 2013 Victoires de la Musique award for Best Rock Album. Since then the band has been touring relentlessly, imposing a distinctive blend of rock, punk-funk and electronic flourishes. For this date, a forward rhythm section, cutting guitars, synths that reinforce the backing vocals and a precise lead vocal make for a tight, direct set. The show alternates between unifying anthems and explosive new stage numbers, crafted to remind audiences why Skip The Use remains a reliable live act.
