On 7 August 2026, Night Tales in Hackney, London hosts Origins with Kyle Starkey, Wolters and Bella Claxton, a lineup that reconnects with the piano-led bounce of 90s hard house and brings it into a contemporary club framework.
UK-based DJ and producer Kyle Starkey works at the junction of hard house, progressive house and trance. His sets thread together rare rave-era cuts and current productions, keeping things fast, melodic and tightly paced. He revives 90s and 2000s club codes without leaning on nostalgia, reshaping them for today’s dancefloor.
From the Melbourne scene, Bella Claxton moves between hard house, techno and trance. Her mixing favors long transitions and gradual tension, with punchy rhythms and flashes of psychedelia. She has recorded mixes for HÖR Berlin and Rinse FM, and extends this palette in the studio with a debut EP on the Australian label Made Of Momentum.
Australian DJ and producer Wolters completes the bill with a focus on driving piano motifs, firm basslines and crisp percussion, channeling that 90s bounce into direct, functional club cuts. Together, the three sketch a straight-ahead, no-frills journey built for movement at Night Tales.
