Green Lung will return to Bristol on 17 December 2026 at 7:00 pm at Electric Bristol, joined by High On Fire and Gnome.
Following the announcement of their fourth studio album, 'Necropolitan' (out September 2026), Green Lung's new album is a celebration of occult lore and heavy music, produced by Tom Dalgety (Ghost, Opeth). The band recorded at Rockfield Studios, drawing on inspirations from Black Sabbath to Queen to Judas Priest, to capture their live sound. The album combines the hooks of 'This Heathen Land' with a raw heaviness and takes their storytelling in a macabre direction.
For more than 20 years, High On Fire have explored sludge, thrash and doom-influenced metal, from the cult classic 'The Art of Self-Defense' to their Best Metal Performance win at the 2019 Grammys, through to their latest full-length, 'Cometh the Storm' (2024).
