Rhapsody of Fire

On January 17, 2027, the Motocultor Across Europe Tour stops at the Rocher de Palmer in Cenon, with Rhapsody of Fire headlining. Formed in Trieste, the band has spent three decades crafting narrative symphonic power metal in which the speed of heavy metal meets orchestral arrangements and songwriting steeped in baroque influences and fantasy imagery. Now fronted by Giacomo Voli on vocals and Alex Staropoli on keyboards, Rhapsody of Fire strings together key tracks and new pieces — from The Eighth Mountain and Glory for Salvation to Challenge the Wind — in a set conceived as an additional chapter of their musical saga.

Alongside them, Serious Black champions a more contemporary vision of power metal: direct and effective, with a strong sense of groove, crisp riffs and unifying choruses, driven by a production tailored for the stage. This offers a complementary counterpoint to the Italians’ orchestral emphasis.
