High Fade

Glasgow trio High Fade bring their tight, dancefloor-leaning blend of funk, rock and disco to The Castle & Falcon in Birmingham on 30 October 2026. Built around Harry Valentino’s guitar and vocals, Oliver Sentence’s elastic bass and Heath Campbell’s crisp drums, the band cut their teeth busking before turning that street-honed chemistry into a rigorous touring life. Expect sharp grooves, clipped riffs and call-and-response hooks that slide into extended breaks, making a three-piece feel much larger.

The set leans on fan favourites Burnt Toast & Coffee, Gossip and Burnin’, alongside a pacey, elastic take on Herbie Hancock’s Chameleon that helped spread their name. With their sophomore LP Twice As Nice out on RPN Records, fresh tracks slot in with the same live-first mindset: tight arrangements, deep pocket and a warm, analog feel. High Fade push funk into a modern, club-ready frame while keeping the grit of a live band, all pocket and pulse.
