Info
After years away from Europe, Monterrey’s Plastilina Mosh returns with a set built on groove and a playful, irreverent streak. Formed in 1996 by Alejandro Rosso and Jonás González, the duo came up through the late-90s Avanzada Regia wave and carved a bilingual path switching between Spanish and English. Their hybrid approach—rock, hip-hop, electronica, big beat, acid jazz and pop—earned them a following across Latin alternative scenes. They play their first ever UK show on 2 September 2026 at The Garage, London.
On stage, expect sharp tempo shifts, chunky basslines, synth hooks and sample collages. Classics like Mr. P-Mosh and Niño Bomba sit alongside cuts from Aquamosh, Juan Manuel, Hola Chicuelos and All U Need Is Mosh, threaded with industrial edges and Latin swing. The set leans into danceable grooves and call-and-response choruses while keeping the band’s rough, playful corners intact—a way to reconnect with fans and celebrate a discography that marked the 2000s without losing the restless spirit of their early days across Mexico and Latin America.
